Castle Semple Rowing
Club is proud to announce that their regatta this year will be on
May 22nd (Poster). We
would like to
invite you all to come and join us in competing at the largest
one day regatta in Scotland. Last year we hosted over 100 races
with competitors from 20 different clubs and we hope to repeat that
success this year. We are also hosting the Inter-Regional Championship
for the second year running.
We are offering a large
range of events for both juniors, seniors and veterans. All
races are 1000 metres unless stated in the Entry List. All competitors
should read our Conditions
of Entry and make sure they are familiar with our circulation
pattern for their own safety. These will also be posted at the
clubhouse on the day. The regatta will be run under Scottish Rowing
rules.
We are asking this year
that if possible clubs email their entries to us at regatta@castlesemplerc.co.uk.
It should be possible to enter the details straight into our entry
form on your computer, if there are any issues with the filling
in of the form email
is our prefered method of communication.
You can download our
entry form in one of two ways. As a single
word document containing all of the different categories (for
small entries) or as a zip
file containing a seperate word document for each different
category (e.g. doubles, singles, quads). The latter form is to make
it easier for clubs with lots of entries. Simply use as many of
the pages as you need and cut and paste them together into one document
to email back to us.
The closing date for
entries is 9pm on the 13th of May. This deadline
will be strictly adhered to and no late entries will be
accepted.
As usual we will be catering
our own tea room which will be stocked with hot and cold food and
beverages as well as delicious home baking to keep up the strength
of all our competitors and spectators. We are looking forward to
welcoming you to Lochwinnoch for another great day of racing.
