Coaching Links

You don’t need to be fit to enjoy rowing, but rowing and the associated training are excellent ways to improve your fitness and flexibility – regardless of your age or ability level.

Castle Semple Rowing Club coaches cater for a wide variety of aspiring athletes – whether you are someone who has never rowed before, someone with additional support needs, or someone who intends to compete at the highest level.
It is our intention that everyone involved in the club should have the opportunity to improve their skills without the risk of over-training or injury. We run a range of weekly activities for adults and children. Each group enjoys coaching support.

 Technique

Good technique is necessary to row efficiently. It also reduces the chances of injury. ‘British Rowing Technique’, which is the method coached at Castle Semple Rowing Club, has been developed to by top international coaches.
